<h5 class="subsubsection">9.7.2.3 Pseudo Maps</h5>
<p><a name="index-pseudo-map-fd_002c-BPF-864"></a>The &lsquo;<samp><span class="samp">LDDW</span></samp>&rsquo; instruction can take a literal pseudo map file
descriptor as its second argument. This uses the syntax
&lsquo;<samp><span class="samp">%map_fd(N)</span></samp>&rsquo; where &lsquo;<samp><span class="samp">N</span></samp>&rsquo; is a signed number.
<p>For example, to load the address of the pseudo map with file
descriptor &lsquo;<samp><span class="samp">2</span></samp>&rsquo; in register &lsquo;<samp><span class="samp">r1</span></samp>&rsquo; we would do:
