generic-board: allow showing custom board info 

Allow showing custom board info from a checkboard() function being
implemented if CONFIG_CUSTOM_BOARDINFO is specified.  Previously the
device tree model was always displayed not taking any
CONFIG_CUSTOM_BOARDINFO into account.
